To MP’s – Canadian Government,
We, EV Canada.org petitioners know that Zero Emission Vehicle Technology , Electric Vehicles , has been available for many years and has proven to work successfully.
There are many Electric Vehicle companies that have proven success in the production of Zero Emission Vehicles:
Tesla Motors, Phoenix Motorcars, AC Propulsion, Think Nordic, Miles Automotive, Mitsubishi I Miev and many others that run at highway capable speeds and would meet all safety standards.
Zero Emission Vehicles would represent a great benefit to our country, environment and our planet in reducing harmful greenhouse gas emissions.
As Canadians and as consumers we have not seen any action by our Government to promote or encourage car manufacturers to make Electric Vehicles available to the Canadian consumer. It’s time for our government to take action and to put in place a Zero Emission Vehicle mandate which would pave the way for car manufacturers to start offering Electric Vehicles to Canadians.
It’s time our Government takes action and gets involved for the benefit of our environment and for the benefit of Canadians.
We petitioners of EV Canada.org are requesting our government:
1. To implement reasonable Zero Emission Car mandates in Canada.
2. To encourage Car Manufacturers to bring Electric Vehicles into Canada.
3. Support Electric Vehicle Technology in Canada.
